Accessing Charnwoods leisure facilities has never been easier. In partnership with Charnwood Borough Council, the facilities of Loughborough and Soar Valley Leisure Centre are able to offer residents a range of discounts on a number of different leisure services.
Wild Card
Offers and discounts for 5-16 year olds, including the popular Holiday Activity Programme for 5-12 year olds and discounts for a range of Loughborough shops and attractions across Leicestershire.
There are three levels of Wild Card;
25% (standard) available to all 5-16 year olds who live in Charnwood
There is a charge of £3 per year for the card and registration is quick and easy.
25% (out of borough) available to all 5-16 year olds who attend school in Charnwood but live outside the borough. There is a charge of £5 per year for the card and registration is quick and easy.
50% available to those eligible for free school meals or registered as disabled
This card is issued free of charge and registration is quick and easy.
Cards are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and require a passport sized photo to validate them. All cards are issued with a discount directory and voucher booklet.

Free Swimming
Loughborough Leisure Centre are participating in the Swim4Free initiative which enables all young people aged 16 and under and all those aged 60+ to swim for free, during public sessions.
To register for free swimming download the flyer opposite and return completed to reception or call in and collect a flyer from reception.
All applications must be returned to the centre in person so that a photograph can be taken.
Please note: Only Charnwood residents can register to swim for free although visitors to the area will be honored with a free swim.
Sport Unlimited Programme
Serco in partnership with Charnwood Borough Council are able to offer a range of junior sports taster sessions.
All new participants will need to complete a short registration form at their first session which requires a parent/guardian signature.
Past activities have included Junior Gym Passes, Circuits Classes, Dance Mats, Self Defence Lessons and Junior Workout classes.
The new programme which starts Easter 2010 will be released soon so watch this space!
